The Nordic’s Best Long Drink

The First Nordic Cocktail Competition was organized by Finland’s Bartenders and Supporter’s Club F.B.S.K. during FinnBar-Trade Fair in Helsinki, Finland on 26.oct.2009 together with Finlandia Vodka, Absolut Vodka, Vikingfjord Vodka, Bols Liqueurs, Rose’s Cordial Mixers, Battery Energy Drink, Schweppes Mixers, Granini & Brämhults-juices, Modo Syrups, Finest Call Premium Cocktail Mixers and Iittala.

The 1st Runner ups from national championships from Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland were invited to Nordic Cocktail Competition. The Winner was, with only 0,1 points margin, Mrs Hirja Niit from Estonia, followed by Mr Mika Räisänen from Finland, and Ms Vigdis Nilssen from Norway.

Cacao White Liqueur Bols 1,5 cl
Melon Liqueur Bols 1,5 cl
Lime cordial Modo 1 cl
Russchian Water Schweppes top up
Method: Shake
Garnish: melon, anise, cucumber and herbs

Name of Drink: DEEP FROM THE FORREST
Ingredients: Name - Brand - Quantity (cl)
Rasberry Liqueur Bols 2 cl
Cranberry Fusion Finlandia Vodka 2 cl
Blackberry Syrup Modo 1,5 cl
Cranberries 4 tsp
Ginger Ale Schweppes Top up
Method: Muddle, build on top of crushed ice and stir.
Garnish: Lingonberry sprig, flowers, Orange and Lime fruit skin.
