Raditya Dimas Dubaista voitti 11th Annual International Finlandia Vodka Cupin BARTENDERS COMPETE IN THE ARCTIC CIRCLE FOR THE FINLANDIA® VODKA CUP
Dubai bartender takes home the victory
Kittila, Finland (Feb. 3, 2009) —Twenty-nine of the world’s best
bartenders braved arctic temperatures high atop the world here on
Tuesday in hopes of capturing the 11th Annual International Finlandia
Vodka Cup. When all the mixing was done,
Raditya Dimas from Dubai won
the contest by attaining the highest cumulative score, 298 points out
of a possible 312, in the three drink categories: the aperitif, long
drink and “Quick Mix”.
“I am so happy that I won,” said Dimas, a native of Indonesia who is
working in Dubai, “I never thought I could win here in Finland!”
“This is so amazing! Plus, this is the first time I have ever seen snow. It was my dream since I am from a tropical area.”
Dimas winning cocktails were:
THE QUICKY TINI- Aperitif
4.5 cl Finlandia Cranberry Fusion vodka
1.5 cl strawberry liqueur
1.5 cl passion fruit syrup
3 cl lemon juice
Method: Shake and strain into a martini glass
Garnish: Lemon slice and mint tip
JAKARTA RED DRAGON- Long Drink
6 cl Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion
1 piece apple
3 cl passion fruit syrup
3 cl raspberry puree
3 cl cranberry juice
Method: Muddle, shake and strain into a highball glass
Garnish: Red currant, grapefruit peel, and mint tip

6 cl Finlandia Grapefruit Fusion
3 cl sugar syrup
6 cl Pomegranate juice
3 slices pink grapefruit
“This is the second year in a row that someone from Dubai has placed in
a top spot in the Cup,” said Finlandia Brand Ambassador Markku
Raittinen. “Last year, Shaun Roesstorff placed third.”
Though Dimas won the overall competition, the Finals yielded three different drink category winners. They were:

Stephen Hinz from Germany finished second overall in the contest followed by Ionel Aurel Talpau of Romania. Kim-Peter Hyöty was 9th in Overall Ranking.
