NEW YORK BARTENDER WANTED Winner of Linie Award 2011 Bartending Competition receives a one week residency at a recognized bar in New York.
LINIE AWARD is an annual, prestigious cooking competition for young, Nordic chefs. The task is to create a dish based on Nordic seafood, and Linie Aquavit must be the obvious accompaniment to the dish. A Nordic jury lead by Bocuse d'Or 2009 winner Geir Skeie will announce the winner at the live finale on June 7, 2011 at Tjuvholmen Sjømagasin in Oslo.
This year's Linie Award also includes a bartending competition. Young, Nordic bartenders are invited to mix their best drink based on Linie Aquavit, and the winner will be announced at the live Linie Award finale.
